Presenting my research on real-time crash prediction at the 101st TRB meeting in Washington DC on Jan 10, 2022.

Welcome

I am a researcher currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation Engineering specialization at the University of Memphis (UofM). I joined the Ph.D. program in 2018. I also have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering. I was awarded my Bachelor's degree First Division with Distinction from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur under a full-ride scholarship granted by the Indian Government. Before joining UofM, I worked as a Civil Engineer for a consulting firm in Nepal that oversaw Quality Control for the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Improvement Project. I also have experience working as an independent consultant. I received a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from UofM. My graduate degrees and research focuses on implementing data driven techniques to improve transportation systems. More specifically, I focus on developing and implementing causal analysis and prediction models for human (travel) behavior and highway safety. I have worked on and delivered research projects funded by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Several of my research articles have been published on reputed transportation journals and presented at notable conferences.
